Hello AS Film Studies, Im afraid I've got flu and won't be in this week. It is important that you continue to work under your own steam. I have set you a new project, please see below for details.

Please start work on a case study for the Hollywood franchise of the 'Hunger Games'

You may also conduct your own research.

In your case study, please answer the following questions:

1. What is a Franchise?

2. Why do you think Hollywood studios executives like them?

3. What makes a good franchise?

4. Why has 'The Hunger Games' proved so successful?

Make a PowerPoint or other presentation and post it to your blog and/or be ready to present it during the the first lesson back after Half Term, ie Weds 2nd Novemeber. (Six slides minimum.)
